This is the first sketch for the new Dog Series I am starting and plan to be working on over the next 6 months. This drawing is of Clio, my sweet Husky-Lab mix who was in my life in my late 20’s to early 40’s. She passed away about 5 years ago, but I still have dreams about her once in a while. In one dream she was on a white sandy beach surrouded by high cliffs and trees and that’s the inspiration for this future painting. Updates will be posted as I make progress!
